Testimony

MuseMind relies on téïcée's expertise for its web application for automatic music editing on video.

About MuseMind

Created at the end of 2017 on “ a simple idea to be able to process music recordings ” says Samuel Dellacherie, the president of that company, MuseMind develops and markets innovative music manipulation technology for professionals in the audiovisual production and video game markets. The former need to rework the sound to integrate it into the game and make it synchronous with the actions of the game. The latter seek to easily set films or advertisements to music and MuseMind provides them with automation tools through the software's ability to identify significant elements of music.

“It's a mix of human and artificial intelligence”

When asked about how the app works, Samuel Dellacherie explains that the solution “ […] is a mixture of algorithms, and thus of human and artificial intelligence, and that the whole requires a great deal of technicality and testing to understand the various problems to be solved ». The tool developed by MuseMind allows you to take a piece of linear music, cut it into small pieces to recombine them, create variations, “ […] What is very important is the audio quality ” points out S. Dellacherie. Customers of MuseMind are prestigious names such as Ubisoft, Sony or Publicis. " We address professional markets, the audio and musical result must be as perfect as possible. »

“I am very satisfied with the
realization of téïcée!”

Regarding application development, secondary activity of MuseMindHowever, the team is limited and the company wanted to make available to its customers a web version from his heavy client autoeditor.
« A common relationship had told us good things about téïcée, that you are able to go beyond a website and so I naturally turned to you ” adds Samuel Dellacherie. “ Well, it took me, because I'm very satisfied with the realization of téïcée ” he adds.

The tasks entrusted to téïcée in addition to the application development itself, this project included technical analysis, feasibility study and project management. téïcée has also contributed to MuseMind its expertise in ergonomics and design.

The first version made by téïcée allows MuseMind to have an online showcase, thus offering demonstrations and arousing the interest of customers.

When asked about the first returns, Samuel Dellacherie says that “[…] if it is a little premature, especially since this first version has a demonstration role and promotion is a little slowed down due to the summer period, it is also for MuseMind to demonstrate the possibilities of integration through partner sites. ” We are thinking here for example of online music bookstores.

“Security plays an important role”

« Several dozen of them would like to offer their customers a quick prototyping montage to illustrate the rendering on their videos ” adds Samuel Dellacherie.

This first phase that téïcée a thus achieved is a preparatory phase, a kind of prototype that will eventually lead to the abandonment of the current tool to focus exclusively on a web version, online, whose functional scope will be expanded as time goes on.

The preference of the web version to the detriment of the ‘heavy client’ version — application to be installed on the user’s computer — is due in particular to security aspects.’ Users who need our tool generally do not have the necessary rights to do so in companies such as those with which we work ” says Samuel Dellacherie.

The online version to save sometimes months of waiting

« When you have to go through IT departments to have the right to install the software, you really have to be patient. Sometimes we have to wait months… ” he said.
With the web version, no need for installation on the computer, the service as well as the tools are available online on a website.

“Other versions are envisaged”

It is well understood, the activity of MuseMind is particularly focused on Innovation, Research and Development and téïcée has obtained the CII authorization which allows its customers to allocate their invoices under the corresponding tax credit.

« Other phases, other versions are already being considered ” concludes Samuel Dellacherie who confides that MuseMind wishes to be able to release budgets in the coming months to move forward.
